People who live with disabilities, specifically the ones who cannot communicate verbally, are more vulnerable to emergencies or disaster situations. For these reasons, the mortality rate of people who live with disabilities can be two or four times greater than that of other people, and their rights are disproportionately affected. This is how Ángel Guardián (Guardian Angel), a family-inclusive risk management program, is born. This program includes the creation and safekeeping of a digital folder with first-aid instructions that can be accessed through a bracelet with a QR code. This bracelet is used by children or youths with disabilities.
